LOCATION:
WASHINGTON, USA
TRIP DETAILS:
Four days, two completely different landscapes. The trip started in the high alpine at Mount Rainier — early morning hikes through fall color in the Cascade Range, wildfire haze softening the peaks, black bears foraging in the meadows below. From there it shifted to the Olympic Peninsula, where the Hoh Rainforest gives way to a foggy, quiet coastline of sea stacks and dark sand beaches that feel like the edge of the world.
