LOCATION:

OREGON, USA

TRIP DETAILS:

Oregon's interior is all old growth and fog — prehistoric forests that swallow the trail ahead and hide waterfalls deep enough in that you have to earn them. Drive long enough through the trees and the coast sneaks up on you, opening onto cliffs above the Pacific without warning. Out there it's raw and untamed — sea stacks rising out of cold water, beaches you can only reach by hiking through the rainforest to get there. It's the kind of place built for surfing, bonfires, and not knowing what's around the next corner.
